Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) is a highly diversified team of 200+ employees internationally, providing internal services to 100+ non-USA locations, in 30+ countries, ensuring safe, secure & compliant operations in an effective and efficient deliver manner for our stakeholder communities. The team reports into Boeing Global, supporting regional teams and works in close collaboration with Enterprise Services, Global Real Estate, Facilities and Asset Management, Indirect Supply Chain, Enterprise Financial Services, Security & Fire Protection, IT and HR Services to deliver a global capability.

Boeing Global Enterprise Services (BGES) is seeking a Business Operations Specialist, based in Kuala Lumpur,Malaysia on a full-time permanent basis. This role is based in the office with some flexibility on offer to work from home depending on business requirements.


Position Responsibilities:

Daily responsibilities included but not limited to:

  • Support with office relocation
  • Support the daily office operations and administration
  • Manage business & emergency preparedness planning for the office. This includes the planning and execution of business continuity and emergency management
  • Support customs compliance coordination with Global Trade Control team
  • Manage business entity compliances for all entities supported by Business Support Manager
  • Manage and maintain proper filing and storage of entity compliance documents. Ensure protection of sensitive personal identifiable information
  • Greets, screens and directs visitors at Company sites to specific locations and offices. Support events, meetings and conferences in Malaysia and SEA countries
  • Answers and routes telephone calls, answers general questions, directs vendors and acts as focal for receipt and delivery of express packages
  • Involve in regional and global ‘continuous process improvement’ initiatives in partnership with BGES team, functional team and regional counterparts
  • Involve in regional sustainability initiatives in collaboration with country focal, and implement best practices from other regions
  • Participate in review and updates of current SOPs, identify ‘gaps’ and provide recommendations to Business Support Manager
  • Other tasks and duties requested by management. Duties subject to change per management requirements

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):

  • Minimum 2 years of related working experiences in multinational companies - preferable experience in project management, basic procurement and finance
  • Excellent in local Bahasa and English language skills (read, written, and spoken)
  • Intermediate computer proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint) and ability to learn new systems
  • Ability to work with various and diverse levels of stakeholders
  • Good presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work well in a team work environment
  • Exhibit excellent organizational and management skills and flexibility in work hours
  • Must be a self-starter with a positive attitude, high ethics and a track record of working successfully under pressure in a time-constrained environment
  • Exhibit strong interpersonal skills and ability to work cooperatively as a team member
  • Methodical and thorough with a focus on detail and completion of tasks
  • Willingness to learn and apply new skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business or similar field of study is preferred but not essential
